Activities
Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day
Join us on June 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Centre Goéland for a musical jam with Marcella and Patricia Richard. Music, games, burgers, and good vibes are all on the menu! Bring your instruments or simply come listen and enjoy the evening.
Canadian Multiculturalism Day – June 27
Canada Day – July 1 at 2 p.m.
The festivities will take place at L’Étable, on the grounds of the Agricultural Exhibition and the Acadian Festival of the Évangéline Region. Come celebrate Canada Day with family and friends in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

United for the Ball – July 1 starting at 1 p.m.

As part of the Canada Day ceremony, come take part in a community soccer tournament celebrating FIFA’s arrival in Canada in 2026. This unifying activity will highlight team spirit, the joy of the game, and a passion for soccer in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
The tournament will take place at the track in Abram-Village, a central and accessible location for the entire community, encouraging participation and connections.
Activities will begin at 1 p.m., in a lively and festive atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
This sporting event is part of a broader community celebration, connected to Canada Day festivities and the arrival of FIFA in the country—two major moments that highlight diversity, unity, and collective passion.
Route 11 Festival – July 31, August 1 - 2
Don’t miss the Route 11 Festival, a vibrant bilingual celebration of Acadian culture, presented at Union Corner Provincial Park. This event showcases music, arts, local cuisine, and family-friendly activities in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
Family Day (Free)
Did you know that admission to Family Day is completely free? It’s a day designed for all ages, with a diverse program spread throughout the park.
On the program:
- Sandcastles for little creatives
- Craft workshops
- Free ice cream to cool off
- Petting zoo for children
- Pony rides with Venture Stables
- And much more!
And yes… the ponies are definitely part of it.

Nihad Ze live in Mont-Carmel – August 2
Bienvenue Évangéline invites you to discover Nihad Ze, performing as part of the Mont-Carmel Concert Series at 7 p.m.
During this musical evening, the audience will enjoy a rich program featuring several talented artists. On stage at the Mont-Carmel parish hall on Sunday, August 2, singer-songwriters Max Bujold and Nihad Ze from New Brunswick will perform, along with a traditional music group made up of Island musicians: Peter Arsenault, Albert Arsenault, Gary Gallant, and Helen Bergeron.
Doors to the parish hall will open at 6:15 p.m., and the show will begin at
7 p.m..
Admission fees:
- $20 for adults
- $17 for Cooperative members
- $8 for students
- Free for preschool children
As space is limited, it is strongly recommended to purchase tickets in advance at: www.cdcpmc.com. If tickets remain available, they will be sold at the door on the evening of the show.
Acadian National Day – August 15
Join the celebration of our Acadian history, culture, and heritage! Music, the Tintamarre, and a festive atmosphere. Full program to come!
Our outings and community clubs
Community cycling club
Come enjoy the fresh air and ride in good company with our cycling club on the Confederation Trail. Every Monday morning, a different ride is offered to discover new routes and enjoy a variety of experiences.
Information (including the departure point) is sent every Sunday to people subscribed to our mailing list. To make sure you don’t miss anything, simply subscribe.

Cyclopousse rides
Enjoy a relaxing cyclopousse ride and experience a moment of calm, relaxation, and outdoor enjoyment.
Reservations are required. Residents of Chez Nous must make their reservation with the centre’s activities coordinator.
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays are reserved for residents of Chez Nous, while Wednesdays and Thursdays are open to the public. Family members and friends of Chez Nous residents may also take part in the outings.
Departures take place from different locations depending on the type of outing: for residents, departure is directly from Chez Nous, while for the public, the meeting point is at the Barlow Park Tourist Centre in Wellington.
Outings take place at three set times: 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 11:00 a.m., depending on availability and the day’s organization.
