Acadian Festival – 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Wellington Boys and Girls Club (24 Mill Road, Wellington) will host a free family event. Activities will include inflatable bouncy castles, face painting for children, balloon twisting, a barbecue, carnival games, as well as two performances featuring Acadian illusionist and magician Rémi Boudreau and Prince Edward Island singer-songwriter Mike Pendergast.

Friday, August 14
Tintamarre and Opening Celebration at 2:00 p.m.
Update – programming change
Due to weather conditions, last-minute changes have been made to the activity's schedule.
The musical performance presented by Amand, Colette, and Marie will still take place, but inside Chez-Nous and will be reserved for residents and their families.
The other planned activities will also take place, but will be aimed at the youth of the Exploration Academy Daycare as well as the youth from the Wellington Boys and Girls Club.
In the afternoon, Serpentine Entertainment will also be present to provide entertainment at the Le Chez-Nous, before continuing the entertainment at the Place du Village.
We thank you for your understanding and are happy to be able to maintain these moments of celebration of the Acadian culture and pride, despite the weather conditions.

“Acadian Party” evening with Jonny Ray Arsenault and musicians from 8:00 p.m. to midnight
Saturday, August 15
Community Celebration at 10:00 a.m.
The community is invited to take part in the Acadian Festival Run at the Old Mills Park. Registration will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the start of the race at 9 a.m.This sporting activity will bring together runners and community members in a friendly and festive atmosphere. Registration can be completed online in advance or on site before the activity begins.
Starting at 10 a.m., participants will be able to enjoy a family-friendly program featuring musical entertainment as well as GoWest’s foam machine, which will add a fun and entertaining touch for the whole family.

Family Activities from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Come enjoy a warm and festive atmosphere at the Village musical acadien grounds. In case of rain, the activity will be moved to l’Étable.
On the program: a BBQ, as well as inflatable play structures for children, some craft activities with Lynn Gaudet, as well as a musical program that will bring the site to life with performances by Gilbert Arsenault, Sam and Michael Richard, Keera Gallant and her musicians, as well as Sirène et Matelot.The event will be hosted by emcees Mélina and Gélina.
It’s the perfect opportunity to gather with family and friends, enjoy the outdoors, discover local culture, and share a welcoming experience at the heart of the Acadian community.

Sunday, August 16
Family outing to the beach at 2 PM
Families are invited to gather at the Union Corner beach starting from 2 PM for an afternoon filled with games, discoveries, and opportunities to come together.
Several activities will be offered for children and adults alike, including a sandcastle activity, of the rock painting, the popular Cow Bingo, as well as various outdoor games offered by GoWest, including lawn games and a parachute game. A volleyball activity will also be organized to allow families and youth to enjoy a sporty, fun, and friendly moment.
Participants will also be able to attend a demonstration by the Dieppe Kite Club, which will showcase beautiful and impressive colorful kites as part of this family beach activity.
Music, snacks, and several other activities will be offered throughout the afternoon to create a warm and festive atmosphere that encourages community connections, enjoyment, and sharing.

Mont-Carmel Summer Concert Series from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
At the Mont-Carmel Parish Hall, come enjoy a free concert that promises an evening filled with emotion and music. On stage, discover Jonathan Sonier (NB), Le Diable à Cinq (QC), as well as Louise, Jonathan, and Shane Arsenault. A free oyster tasting with chef Robert Pendergast. A diverse program showcasing Acadian and Québec talent in a warm and festive atmosphere.
