Although the Conseil scolaire-communautaire Évangéline (CSCÉ) is not in a position to support you directly in your immigration process, we will be pleased to answer your questions to the best of our ability and to guide you in your search. Our efforts are aimed at facilitating your integration into the community as soon as you arrive in the Evangeline region.

Located in southwestern Prince Edward Island (on Canada's east coast), the Evangeline region is the largest of the province's 6 Acadian and francophone regions.
Our small, bilingual community lives mainly from four industries: agriculture, fishing, tourism and education. A host of small businesses also deliver a range of essential services and provide many jobs in the community.
Our community of some 3,300 people includes a school (daycare, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school) and a community college.
The few services not available in the Evangeline region are accessible in the town of Summerside, 20 km away.
The Evangeline region is predominantly French-speaking, so it's possible to live, work and do every phase of life from birth to death in French.
Prince Edward Island's Acadian and Francophone community offers a variety of programs and services to help Francophone newcomers settle, get involved and integrate into Prince Edward Island.

The Coopérative d'intégration francophone de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard (CIF) is the provincial community organization that manages Prince Edward Island's growing francophone population. It provides programs and services to help francophone newcomers settle and get involved in Prince Edward Island. It also helps with the recruitment, reception, integration and retention of French-speaking newcomers to our province.
Please note that the CIF is not a government agency that can determine your legal status in Canada or make any decision regarding your immigration application.
