Exploring the Region

The Evangeline region abounds in beaches and festivals. When visiting the Evangeline region, plan to take full advantage!

Not to be missed are the unique Bottle Houses and the majestic historic Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel church. For craft enthusiasts, a stop at the Coopérative d'artisanat d'Abram-Village is highly recommended. Galerie la Palette and PhoArts Visual Images offer works of art by local artists.

Beach lovers can enjoy the beaches at Mont-Carmel and Maximeville, where they can relax by the sea and pick up shells and sea glass.

The Évangéline region also equipped with the Cap-Egmont lighthouse, beautiful cliffs and two wharves, Cap-Egmont and Abram-Village, where you can admire the fishermen's boats. For those who'd like to venture out and catch their supper, It's all about "cockle fishing at Egmont Bay"!
